Olmsted County Bar Association

• Thanks to everyone who attended last Friday's meeting at Victoria's.  Highlights included a unanimous vote to fund two scholarships for graduating high school seniors interested in entering the legal field, as well as a call for donations to this year's OCBA fundraiser for LAOC.
• Speaking of this year's fundraiser, get ready for "A Night in Monte Carlo" on Saturday, March 9, at the Mayo Civic Center.  This year we will have fabulous food from Pinnacle Catering, gaming tables hosted by Sertoma Club, silent and live auctions, and more.  Purchase tickets at https://www.experiencerochestermn.com/rsvp/?action=details&noredirect=1&eventId=345.
• Finally, please mark your calendars for our next noontime Bar meeting at Victoria's on Friday, February 8.  We hope to see you there! 

Olmsted County District Court

• The courts are closed next Monday, January 21, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr., Day.

Olmsted County Law Library

Legal Assistance of Olmsted County

• LAOC has challenged OCBA to "raise the Bar" and help expand the scope of the annual OCBA fundraiser.  Participants will have the opportunity to win gift certificates to Chester's and Terza!  See the attached flyer for more information or contact Karen Nath, karen@laocmn.org, for more information.
