Minnesota State Bar Association

• The MSBA seeks volunteers from the Third Judicial District to serve as mock trial judges for its annual high school program. 
  • Olmsted County opportunities are available on these dates and times:
    • January 21, 2020, at 9:00 a.m.
    • January 21, 2020, at 1:00 p.m.
    • February 14, 2020, at 9:00 a.m.
    • February 14, 2020, at 1:00 p.m.

Minnesota Judicial Branch

• The Supreme Court is seeking to fill vacancies for attorney members on the Rules of Criminal Procedure Advisory Committee.   
  • The committee meets as needed and is responsible for monitoring the rules and hearing and accepting comments for further changes.  
  • The current vacancies are for three-year terms beginning on January 1, 2020.
  • Applicants interested in appointment should send a letter of interest, a curriculum vitae, and a copy of active attorney registration status so as to be received no later than 4:30 p.m. this Friday, December 6, 2019.
